Links to gateways and nodes world-wide
via AXIP or AXUDP tunnelling protocols ..
... don't replace radio links,
they are indispensable to get a real world network.

More and more hosts are also reachable using our ax25 protocol through the internet. Even if some of these stations should be better connected via RF link, most links go abroad and particularly to other continents. So these pages will try to show all the hosts which can be connected by packet radio. A lot of the hosts in my database are static entries working as an AXIP-Link at the packet gateways dispersed in the whole world and others are probably NET/ROM Nodes which are broadcasted by the Net/Rom protocol or IPIP-Connections or whatever. I cannot distinguish them yet because I got them from the node lists but in fact it doesn't matter. The network allows you to reach 48 countries by a simple command "c host or alias" via any of the 1200 hosts listed in my database and there must be more somewhere on the net.. hi.
